I have bad teeth no doubt but I have never had apprehension from X-rays and a cleaning and will from now on. I had the preliminary accessment and no cleaning. Lucky (for them) they got me in the next day. During the prep for cleaning they told me that my insurance would only cover cleaning for one side of my teeth. I have been to Abbeville 3 times, always for nothing more than routine check-ups. The staff is extremely friendly. I thought it strange that they are forcing patients sign authorization forms on electronic signature devices without presenting an documents or forms at all. I was just there for routine check-ups covered by insurance, so I explained that to them and signed BLINDLY. On every visit it seemed as though every staff member was a COMMISSIONED SALES PERSON. Abbeville Dentistry and it's Dr. Lewis' carelessness, negligence, "I don't care" style of operating is the most shocking in the entire field of healthcare....they shouldn't be practicing, one day people will die at their hands if they haven't already..... outrageous and disgusting
Not seeking any resolution, just here to share my experience. I am a student at Tech so Abbeville was convenient for me to go to, although I live in North Carolina. After a routine cleaning and X-rays, I was told I had 4 cavities that needed to be filled. I declined their offer and left, saying I would reschedule for them to be filled because I didn't have the money. 4 months later, I go to my regular dentist in Charlotte for an opinion on my teeth and they tell me that I have NO cavities and light staining on some of my mol... read more
Dr Dunn has been a wonderful dentist and the only dentist that has actually listened to and tried to help my husband with the many issues he has had thanks to the former special needs dentist who butchered his mouth making it impossible for him to ever get implants. However Abbyville has been absolutely infuriating to work with. This is the best dental office I have been to by far! They are so personable and treat you like a friend and they have all the latest technology and are great at explaining what is going on. Highly recommend them!
