I’ve been living at Abberly West Ashley since November 2022, and one thing that has consistently stood out is the maintenance team. Their response time has always been amazing throughout my time here. Anytime I’ve needed something fixed or checked out, they’ve been quick to respond and get the job done efficiently.
Granite countertops aren't properly sealed and will stain. They'll charge you a "heavy cleaning" fee and just leave it for the next person. Will also try to scam you by not providing check out procedures. I asked ahead of time what cleaning needed to be done and was told "just general cleaning" but when I went to turn in my keys I was handed a long list of detailed cleaning tasks. Like raising the rent every year wasn't enough of a scam they have to scam you on the way out too
Michael and Akie on the maintenance team have been absolutely wonderful! Upon moving in, I found very minor issues (loose outlet cover and my door not fully latching). I put in a request late at night and there were here next day before noon to fix them. I also noticed my water filter in my fridge needed changing (and the door needed to be adjusted on the fridge to close properly) so I put in a second request same day and they were back within 20 minutes.
