Rob and his team worked hard and removed the large chimney in approximately 4.5 hours. After a short break they returned to fit the flue, replace the roof tiles and carry out a smoke test. The smoke test failed. The reason for the failure was the flue being fitted in the wrong chimney outlet and Rob said, and I quote “ it’s not my fault ,this is going to cost you £750 “ Rob informed me that when he looked down the chimney one outlet was blocked and the other was clear. Rob went above and beyond, coordinating with the chimney flue installer and they even fixed a mess left behind by the flue guy.
