The most professional small business we have encountered. The owner, Derek, has been very accommodating with our needs. We have never felt out of loop due to his excellent communication skills. Above & Beyond Construction is by far the absolute best contractor experience I've had to date. Derrick is phenomenal with communication and always keeps you in the loop. A & B is very busy(which to me speaks volume for a company), however, Derrick always sticks to the schedule. Derek and his crew replaced my gutters and did a lot of weather proofing and replacing rotted boards on my house exterior. All I can say is that the work is top notch and competitively priced. I will definitely use A&B for future work. What set this company apart is the level of constant communication and updates from Derek.
Derek and Josh helped repair our deck to pass inspection. The previous contractor refused to come back and repair items needed to pass inspection. They also found several other safety issues that they resolved quickly and efficiently.
Our deck was finished today and it far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the work is excellent-the best. Derek was great keeping us informed of the progress toward the work start. Work was done on time and I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the work. Josh and his crew worked all day , kept us informed of the progress. Derek built my deck May 2022. He also replaced the flooring on my two balconies. I could not be happier. He made the deck so I could just walk right out my front door without needing a step. My courtyard is fenced with a gate. Derek made a ramp so I can easily walk in and out. The composite would He used is fantastic. Derek is great work to with and so pleasant. He had to take down a 12 × 10 × 15 ' high canopy and put it back together again. Derek is a gem.
A&B built a 16 x 23 deck with 2 sets of stairs/railings. This was such a smooth process with great communication. Josh took pride in his work, and shared what he was doing each step of the way. This is quality construction, and A&B took every step possible to be sure this deck lasts for a long time. The owner Derek was such a delight to work with, very professional and easy to relate to. He was so helpful from start to finish, and so knowledgeable. He and his crew exceeded my expectations for this project. and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
