Unethical, will take your deposit and then try to make you pay for new tenants rent and hotel stay while they prepare the home for the next tenants. They billed us for 10k of “damages” in three months, keeping our $4500 deposit. Luckily the renters rights resource center was extremely helpful in this situation, letting me know they cannot do this. Extremely unethical. I was trying to get out of a lease due to domestic abuse and they were very difficult to work with, then claimed my entire security deposit ($4500) and an extra $3,500 for “damages” when I was finally able to break the lease, by getting a restraining order against my co occupant. No compassion, no integrity. Just out for money. Made me pay my co-occupants rent, the person who was abusing me, because she could not pay.
