The whole experience was very pleasant. From the time I booked in along with wonderful nurses, anesthesiologists and of course Doctor Kakkar were tremendous . They were all fantastic! Thank you and I appreciate all they do.
I had high hopes for this doctor (based partially on the positive reviews), but my experience was a huge let down. She didn't show any interest in listening to my concerns or medical history. She ordered multiple expensive tests, that didn't get us any closer to a treatment or relief from my symptoms. Additionally, she suggested I take a risky medication that would counteract to intended effect of another medication I am on. There just isn't any logic in that. She's a great doctor, but her office staff is terrible. They do not answer their phones - they are very difficult to get in touch with and when you finally do, they are very rude. Also they do not respond to messages on the patient portal. I really love Dr. Kakkar, but because of her office staff and the difficulty in communicating with her office, I am thinking of changing to another gastro doctor.
