Aaron said he’d do very little to the back of my hair. I brought in photos and just needed some blending. He cut off more than half of my hair, probably two thirds, while getting increasingly angry. I just wanted the layers to blend a little. I showed him several photos and he said no problem. I included the photos I showed him below. Mr. Vaughn used to be my hair stylist in Los Angeles when he was based in Venice Beach, years ago. We connected over social media and I decided to make a special trip out to Vaughn Westerman, his Port Townsend salon, when I was at a conference in Seattle. I LOVE MY CUT AND COLOR. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This is hands down the best salon I've ever been to. I have never felt so pretty after a hair appointment. The entire team was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional from start to finish. They did a phenomenal job and took the time to teach me about products that work for my hair and how to style it at home, which I really appreciated. Finally found my person. Took the ferry over from Whidbey for this and I’d do it again without thinking twice. I’ve got longer hair and I’ve been trying to get this specific cut right for a while — textured, fringe, lots of movement — and nobody’s been able to do it without it looking wrong somehow.
