Based on other reviews, I’m sure Dr. Ellison is a great doctor, but his front office staff is very unprofessional. I’ve been searching for a male PCP of color for a while with no luck. I found Dr. Ellison through my insurance app and called to schedule an appointment. He was booked until December, so I asked for the first available Monday. Instead of helping with that, the receptionist kept suggesting other days and pushing me to see his Nurse Practitioner. Dr Ellison is easy to talk to, he’s a truly understanding man who I’m comfortable to call my doctor. I haven’t had a personal MD in a while. Glad I was referred to him.
