I came to Dr. Friedman with a very complicated case where I previously had countless unsuccessful surgeries to improve the quality of my voice. I write this review a little a year after having surgery with Dr. Friedman, and my voice quality has improved tremendously. He did what no other doctor could do and I can't recommend him enough. Beyond the results, he was incredibly thorough and analytical and I always felt like he was being realistic and transparent throughout the process as to the risks and rewards. He is a 1 of 1.
Wow! Great results from the botox I had done for my voice. Did not expect my voice to be back to about 95% percent better in just a few days after treatment. I normally do not get on and post my experience but this time after my treatment, I wanted to share with others my awsume experience with the botox. Dr. Friedman is the best in his field. He has been my only doctor for routine Botox injections for the past three years since I was diagnosed with spasmodic dysphonia at 21 years old. I walked in his office, barely able to speak. I got my speaking voice back with true vocal cord Botox injections. After a year of injections, we changed to false vocal cord injections per my request. Worst experience ever!! If I could give negative stars I would. He was not sympathetic/empathetic in any way. In fact when my daughter complained the pills were hard to swallow he said "oh well, first world problems". When my daughter said she was having an allergic reaction (which the dr should have know she was allergic to this antibiotic family) he said, "I'm not a dermatologist this rash all over your body could be anything" even after she explained that's how her body reacts to antibiotic that she's allergic to. I have had carcinoma in situ of the vocal cord and have seen several otolaryngologists over the past few years to address it. Dr. Friedman’s surgeries have produced the best and longest lasting results. I also need to get scoped every 3-6 months, and Dr. Friedman’s numbing protocol and gentle approach have made his scoping the most comfortable I have ever experienced.
