I absolutely LOVE Dr. Becker & Im extremely greatful for him during my process.
I went in for an ADHD evaluation, but was instead given a 580-question true/false behavioral test that is not used to testADHD. Based on this test, I received a diagnosis that I was told was incorrect by another psychiatrist and their colleagues. There was little explanation of the testing or how it supported the diagnosis, and no comprehensive ADHD-focused evaluation. I also interacted with Dr. Becker for at most 45 minutes. Overall, the experience felt misleading and unhelpful.
Very nice, testing was a bit strange but I’m trusting in his expertise. I have a follow up with him soon. The only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars was due to the 567 question test (true or false). They put you in a room with other people taking this personality test and some of the questions were quite serious. One of the other folks in the room had a BO problem that made the entire room smell. Maybe he just got off work, not judging him. Dr.Becker gives me the feeling he genuinely cares. He listens to my concerns and gives his expertise and guides me the best decision for me! Keeps a good schedule, no long waits like most places.
Dr Beckner was so professional honest and understanding...At first I didn't like what he had to say, and I was honestly frustrated, and angry, but we talked , and he broke everything down to me, in a way that was not only relatable, but understandable , informational, and very caring ...that's when I realized that this man is not just a doctor in some facility sitting behind a desk... he is a real person and he cares about people!
