I was represented in a DUI case, basically put into a program I could have requested myself as a first time offender and wasted $2500. My advice don't drink and drive. If you do, do not knee jerk react as I did. Do your research, remain calm, and clear of mind and then weigh your legal options. When you decide on a lawyer point your arrow in another direction and find competent, compassionate representation. Good luck.
I thought I was making the right choice by hiring Paul Aaroe, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me. Perhaps he does a better job in Pennsylvania where he is located, but for my situation in NJ, he did virtually nothing that helped. Hired him for 2nd offense DUI. He gave me his speech about second offenses, what it means, and why it costs more- fine, I get it.
