I'd recommend AAMCO in Chicago Heights for electrical issues that are just beyond you. I got a diagnostic and some very sage advice for moving forward.
Horrible!!!!! They gave me an appointment time to drop my car off, my car sat in their parking lot for three days and never got serviced. On the third day, I went to pick my car up and took it someone else.
Friendly staff....just too overpriced.
Great service.Terrible service. With no codes my transmission had transmission shutter between gears. I was told without a code I had to wait for the transmission to blow up for them to repair it. I talked to two other AAMCO shops and they knew what was happening said they will repair my transmission. I would not send anyone to the Chicago Heights AAMCO for any auto repair.
Google estimated cost of repairs for check engine code P0706/P0707 between $300/$400. Now Wednesday and after a bill of $1900.00 and less then 24 hours later check engine light still on. Paperwork given to me didn't even mention fixing the code reading found by other independent shop. Now I have to wait unit Monday to be seen again
