A Frustrating and Dishonest Experience: I brought my car to AAMCO for a full inspection, expecting professional service and transparency. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but. The next day, I received a $1,000 service invoice to replace my alternator, which was surprising since no inspection was even performed. Was able to book an appointment for an oil change. Was seen right away. Appreciate the good customer service.
Not advising anyone to fix his car in AAMCO. I went to AAMCO in des,plaines, IL on 9/21-23/25 to check my car's transmission. They said the fee to check my car is $160.00, and I agreed for that. Next day I got estimate to fix my car transmission "Mazda3" for $2445.00 !!. I checked with the dealership and I found that the cost is less than $1500.00. I called the technician again and I asked him if he got the part he ordered , he said not yet so I asked him to cancel repairing my car. Surprisingly, he gave me another estimate ... read more
