As a family member, I’m glad he decided to get a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars. AAMCO gave him a diagnosis and a repair price, but the vehicle still wasn’t fixed. His family mechanic found the actual issue, replaced the part, and the car cranked right up. He ended up saving over $2,000. Definitely get a second opinion before approving expensive repairs.

⭐ 1-Star Review I had a very DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING experience with AAMCO. I was given a diagnosis and was told that the repairs would cost a significant amount of money, with the impression that this was what needed to be done to get my vehicle running properly. I even tried to save money by getting the part myself and they refused which was very odd and a waste of my time after communicating I would get my own part and then refusing it afterwards! BEWARE!!! I had my transmission repaired at this Aamco location in early 2025. The car was running fine before but I could feel the transmission slipping and it was still under warranty. Just under two years later now, in September 2026 my transmission went out on me while driving. Rude and Poor service. The representative was very rude over the phone with me. Came to these guys for a tune up last year. Ended up having to replace the engine a few months after. Took them 5 months to replace the engine, and the car is still giving me problems.
