After receiving a coupon discount on an oil change, this AAMCO gave diagnosis of a pressing issue of oil leaks. AAMCO later added a component to determine where the leaks were originating and repaired the oil leak issue for a reasonable price. Spent about 5k trying to get a working transmission that was never really repaired. They tried 3 times. Yes that’s 3 rebuilds with the third only lasting a few months. When I brought it back they kept it for two weeks then told me they’re not going to fix it because it’s been too long from the first time I brought it in. I got a total of about 30,000 miles from all three rebuilds and now I still have a vehicle with a broken transmission. Do I pay another transmission shop to do it right? This is my second experience with this shop and I have been impressed with the service and quality in both cases. They offer fair prices for repairs as well as give options for the best route to take care of your vehicle. Adam is a standout person who will give thorough information about the repair process.
