This shop gave excellent service. Their quote was reasonable, they finished the job a day early, and even took the time to teach me how to switch to 4WD properly when they found out I had been doing it wrong. I’m going back next month to have them fix a separate issue.
Man this place was a life saver. I’m only a few weeks into my rebuilt transmission for my accord v6 coupe and it’s better than it was before the actual transmission went out on me . I came in because my torque converter wasn’t locking up and come to find out it was the transmission itself. I spoke with Kareem about the issue and he helped come up with solutions to solve the problem. My transmission failed when I was over 3000 miles from home. Kareem was kind, professional and reassuring and the van was fixed in a few days at a reasonable cost and with a warranty. This was honestly the best customer service I have ever encountered at a repair shop. I highly recommend.
I’ve gone to AAMCO Transmissions on Brooke Street for 3 years and the service has always been perfect. Great communication throughout the day. Kareem always makes a point of what needs to be fixed now vs months from now. Great for budget and safety. Would 100% recommend this car shop for anyone in Oakland or Emeryville.
