I took my son’s Jeep in last month with severe transmission issues. It ended up needing to have the transmission replaced and then some. Larry made sure that was attainable for us, and in doing so was a huge blessing to our family. My son having his own transportation is vital with his school, work, and football schedule in his junior year of HS. We haven’t had any issues since the replacement- it runs great. My family highly recommends AAMCO Boardman.
The job was done and in a timely manor. Was suppose to be 3500. They raised it to over 5000 and then told me if I didnt come get it I would be charged a lot fee. Upon speaking with my lawyer we settled on the original quote as he never called to inform me of the HUGE price increase. They do the job but NOT friendly for your wallet. Communication was a zero here. Would recommend a back yard mechanic first! 🤧
This is a bit of a late review I had them rebuild the transmission on my C5 Corvette last year. They were one of the few shops they were willing to actually undertake the task and I was very grateful. It was pretty expensive for a heavy duty rebuild but I was happy to get it done over just ordering one online and praying that it was decent. They had it in and out in a very good time frame.
