Recently had top end of our motor rebuilt. Friendly staff and quick turnaround.

You would think with an alleged 40% failure rate and 7.5% Royalty Fee customer service should be a priority. The customer service and lack of due care I received was unacceptable. Paid 4K for a used transmission and 14 months later…surprise surprise…I have to get another transmission. I asked for an extended warranty and was told it only comes with a 12 months later warranty. NEVER again….total ripoff!
College student here!! I’ve been in Raleigh my whole life and have witnessed many of my friends be swindled by other mechanics in the area with their “lower prices” only to have their cars back in the shop for the same issue or more. AAMCO provides an honest assessment of your cars problems, with quality work that actually lasts. I have lived in Raleigh for 27 years and I know everybody in town. The shop can be trusted. It’s one of those shops that you could send your wife or daughter to and know that they’re gonna take care of what they need and not sell them something they do not need. The guys working at the shop has been there a very long time and are super knowledgeable. The shop does not have a lot of turnover. their expertise is transmissions.
