This shop is very well established, and has been in service for as long as I can remember. The team here is no nonsense, and the work they do is the same- very high level, and it shows. This is one of the very few places I've ever truly trusted, because as you know vehicles or their issues can get very complicated very quickly. Steve and I’ll are just wonderful they’ve taken great care of me and my vehicle
I was recently on a roadtrip from Kentucky to Colorado when my Honda Element was having some issues just outside of Boulder. I contacted AAMCO in Lakewood and they were able to get my car in for a look. Towed my car and they found a broken axle on my passenger side and broken transmission mount. They gave me a good quote and did the work incredibly fast. The team was very responsive and called me periodically with updates and what was going on with my car / if they found anything else. Manager (BILL) is very unprofessional and rude.. He literally had the audacity to try and charge me almost half of what other Amco transmissions would charge me for the same service (transmission fluid change/filter+pan). The other locations I’ve called four of them. They’re all $589 for the same exact thing. This guy wanted to charge me $989 For the same exact thing..
