Pete the manager at AAMCO transmission Roanoke has lied to me several times, has not returned my call when he was supposed to get the pictures sent to him. I had to fix transmission myself. I have had 4 transmissions installed within three years. I have had truck in the shop more than I have had it on the road. I have been a Auto mechanic for thirty years and do know my way around a vehicle with four of those years being with AAMCO transmission in Wilmington NC and I can assure you that not all aamco's practices this policy.... read more
Very friendly, knowledgeable staff! They got me in and out quickly, and my car is doing great! I appreciate them working me in and making sure all the problems with my car were solved in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. I will continue to do business with AAMCO.Â

I've worked at a handful of auto shops over the years - this being one of them. Although I'm no longer working here I can tell you that this is the most honest, trustworthy shop I ever worked in. No customer ever got taken advantage of. Folks were always charged a fair price, for quality work and parts - and most importantly knowledge. Never sold things they didn't need. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the SWVA area as a go to place to for all your car care needs and go in knowing you'll be taken care of like family.Â
