Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys at Aamco on Fairview Ave. I took my car in for transmission service and they unfortunately had to rebuild my transmission. FORTUNATELY Aamco is reputable and offers a pretty decent warranty to back up their work. The service, care and communication was so great I had to write a review. The staff is extremely knowledgable and goes above and beyond to deliver quality work at a competitive price. Charged me for a rebuilt transmission 14 years ago, on my 2000 Outback, for $2,500. I kept having issues, then had the transmission inspected by another tech. Turned out Aamco charged me for work not completed. Franchise owner at the time (maybe current) claimed that he was not owner when the work order was signed. His signature was on the work order that I was charged for originally, so the man lied to my face. If the statute of limitations had not expired, I would sue the snot out of this hack transmission franchise. These... read more

Jason and his band of merry mechanics have saved me a couple times,but , this one was so special that I literally want to shout it from the rooftops.My car died on me at the post office on a Saturday.I had it towed in to the best place I know..
