AAMCO was a great car maintenance experience. I was able to make an appointment ahead of time and arrange changes to the appointment via text message. I was also very pleased with the price and the work completed! Will be going back!
I gave them my food truck for the transmission to be fixed. They told me they have fixed it so I gave them the money ($5,000) before test driving it. After test driving it I noticed it still had the same issue and wasn’t fixed so I went back for them to fix it again. 3 weeks later they called me saying they fixed it, so I took their mechanic and went to test drive it and it still had the same issue and hasn’t been fixed. Had transmission rebuild done about a week and a half ago. Everything was fine until this morning. Started the truck to warm up. Couple minutes later, I walk around the front of the truck and noticed a pool of transmission fluid on the ground.With more pouring out. Immediately shut off the truck and inspected. To find a loose hose. Due to the hose clamps used being the wrong size. They were too big and did not tighten enough if I had not walked around the front of my truck this morning. I made appointment for service at 600 so location. On the day of the appointment I dropped my car off 15 minutes early and was told it would be 2 to 3 hours. Happened to drive by an hour later and my car was still sitting outside in the lot, had not been touched. I went to find out what the holdup is and was told that they were behind (Obviously). However the man offered to give me my car back without me asking so I kind of felt like there was something else going on. So I took the car and left.
