I saw the Valentine’s promotion and checked the reviews. I usually rely on Google ratings when choosing places, and it works. This time, it didn’t. This was a holiday buffet. There were mussels with shrimp, but I don’t eat seafood. The chicken and pork looked like they had been cooked at least a week ago — dry and unappealing. I come here for breakfast because the prices are good and it’s relatively quiet. The food and atmosphere are fine. The problem is the waiter. He has a bad habit of reaching across the table to grab plates, sometimes before I’m even finished eating. It’s poor manners and very annoying. If the kitchen is short on dishes, that’s understandable—but there’s no reason to grab a plate without asking first. A really great place for lunch with a fantastic buffet. Canadian classics and dishes from around the world. Every day brings something new. The pasta is a true work of art with amazing variety and flavors. It’s just a pity the lunch buffet isn’t available every weekday — I would go every day!
Whenever I’m in this part of the city, I come here for lunch. Always a good buffet, but today the lasagna was amazing. Best lunch deal in the city for the price.
I come here for breakfast, it's a good price and relatively quiet. The only problem is the waiter. He has a horrible habit of reaching across in front of you to grab your plate and particularly when I'm not finished with it. Poor manners and bloody annoying. Is the kitchen is so hard up for dishes? Why can't you wait until the customer is finished their meal? Or try ASKING if you can take the plate! Don't just go reaching across in front and over the customer's remaining meal.
