The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect for me and my dog. It was a great room and a great stay
Arrived at hotel. The Nan at counter was vague, went to pay and luckily noticed he had charged &1.980 instead of &198. Had to correct him. Gave me keys to room 3 and then told me the bathroom tap was dripping and to ignore it. Was confused about the room we were in kept saying room 2 instead of 3. Checked rap and couldn’t turn it on. Got him to come back and he turned it on but said I had to turn it off very hard. Told him I couldn’t do with with bad wrists. Ask for another room. Nice little pet-friendly motel (extra fee for pets). It is showing its age, there are some maintenance issues. Friendly host.
Place was clean and tidy, only Issue was lack of maintenance. I took my shoes off went to the bathroom in my socks only to walk into water. The bathroom was flooded. The shower does not turn off. I am not talking about a drip but a bad leak splashing on the shower tray and bouncing onto the bathroom floor. The screen door was left open. This has obviously been happening for a while as the taps were done so tight I could hardly turn them for a shower. Lovely gentleman on the front desk. Cockroach infested room 10. I reported this and was offered spray. I told him the fumes would make staying impossible. It needs cleaning and commercial pest treatment. Bathroom window doesn't lock. I will try to post a pic. I hate saying this. Bathroom door held together with tape. Window sill in bathroom has not been cleaned in many years.
