Bought a rebuilt transmission from Charlie for $1350 in March of 2024. 3 months after warranty expired it blew 2nd gear on June 16 2025. Trash product trash service. Extremely disappointed. He gets defensive when you call up for warranty work and acts like you didn't by it from him, Though he gives you a pink piece of paper with his handwriting on it as a receipt. On receiving product 10 of the 16 fluid pan bolts were loose causing leakage. $1350 dollars wasted. Highly do not recommend!
I wouldnt go anywhere else but advance for my transmissions. We use them on all our service vehicles. They are quick and get it done with a smile on their face! Thank you so much for all the help over the years!
I was on a cross-country trip with my family and the transmission on my Suburban leaked some fluid. I explained the issue to John and he was able to check the car on the same day, despite being very busy. It turned out the transmission was overfilled. He did not charge me a dime !!!
John and his team repaired my 2011 equinox transmission. Transmission had no reverse and would not shift out of first going forward. John quoted me a very fair price and repaired the transmission in about 1 week. Final price was within 1% of the quote and the car works perfectly. Repair comes with 1 year warranty.
