I had a difficult experience when I bought one hotel room earlier in 2023, but when I bought another one the service I received was absolutely perfect. Easy to get through on the telephone, prompt response, great courtesy when I was running late (90-mile drive to the office and traffic was uncooperative) and when I as an apprehensive buyer uneasily asked questions, unexpected refund of an overpayment--couldn't have been better! Legal work done properly, but clerical competence doubtful I bought a hotel room and expected to receive the title insurance and the deed a few weeks after closing. They were mailed, as promised. The post office told me to expect the letter on one day and it arrived a week later. It arrived with “Damaged” stamped on the envelope, the envelope neatly slit open, and a piece of clear shipping tape placed crosswise across part of the slit-open opening.
