My 2025 Toyota Camry insurance is with AAA. My car was hit by a student and fixed with an "AAA Member Preferred Repair Shop". The claim is 016760754. However, Toyota technicians at AutoNation Toyota Irvine showed me a wrong size (too higher) and non-original rear-left shock was in my car. Don't use this place! I went in for my"free" oil change as a member of AAA. after waiting for an hour and a half in an empty place they came and told me a list of things that needed fixed on my car and that it would cost me around $400 for those fixes. I told them I was just interested in the oil change and that I would talk to my mechanic and then make the necessary repairs either with my mechanic or possibly AAA. Very disappointed with the service here. They told use they would get the part to fix my vehicle. Two days I called to check on it . They informed me their vendor no longer carried the part. When I called they said they found out the day before. I called one hour before they closed . When asked why they had not informed me they said they were going to get around to it that day or the next.
I've been a AAA member for 42 years. They have saved me more times than I can count. I feel safe knowing help will come. Since moving about half an hour south of Ft Wayne, the wait recently was longer, but I was home so I didn't mind at all. I also have great insurance rates, as I bundled my home and car insurance together. I was told by an independent broker that i had the best rates around. The phone staff is awesome too.
After 9 years as a home and auto package customer i found out i was paying way more than ii should be paying. for the same coverages. I called the Lake Mary office on 01/08/2026 and no one answered the phone. Just a message to request a call back and it would be returned in 24-48 hours. / I got the call back 7 days later.. Brought my vehicle in for repair. Service was good until I noticed that they made my drivers side carpet floor mat dirtier than when I had brought my vehicle in for repair! So upset. This is completely unacceptable. The dirty shoe marks left behind on my floor mat look like they had mud on their shoes. Clearly they didn't put down a disposable paper floor mat to protect my carpet floor mat like they are soppose too. No auto repair shop has never done this before.
After several years as a member (28 years) of AAA roadside assistance and emergencies, I was astounded to uncover the pervasive corruption and avarice among your vendors. One would reasonably expect a company affiliated with your organization to adhere to standards that may not be in place for treating your members. Jeff, Angel and Fritz do exceptional work. They keep all of our vehicles on the road. We have gotten batteries, brakes, trans flushes and other general maintenance. We will only bring our cars to AAA.
