Per Dan from AAA, had suggested I needed a new gas tank after the gas tank straps had rusted out on my 2008 Marquis. The new gas tank started leaking after the 2nd fill. I brought it back and AAA Dan suggested replacing the tank again also with a new filler neck. The tank 2nd tank continued to leak and was told it could not be fixed, and a refund was given. My son-in-law, a novice mechanic, found the problem… the grommet was never installed correctly on the tank!! Picture attached for your reference.
Great work and significantly cheaper than going to dealer.
