Outdated The institution itself can be useful as far as breakdowns and the like, but now a days with instant access to triptiks, airlines, hotels, car rentals and all that through our---the travel portion seems obsolete. I have used it to ask whom they recommend to park your car at the airport and have needed towing, but other than that, I really don't get $80 worth of use out of it each year. Great trips start here We have been AAA members for 7 years and we happily renew our membership every year. It is not just about road side assistance, but customers get good discounts at retail centers and local outlets as well. But we think the best part is travel services and trip planning. They have an extensive collection of maps and state books that show points of interest and AAA approved hotels that offer discounts. The staff at this office is very helpful in giving travel advice for cruises etc.
