NEVER go to AAA in Middletown. My windshield wiper fluid stopped working. I filled it up, but it still didn’t work. I went to check the hose under the hood and the plastic piece connected to the hose to spray the fluid cracked and crumbled at my touch. It dry rotted. I took it to AAA to see if they could give me a quote to fix it. They quoted me $442 with the part costing $40. I went online and bought the part for $10. I just fixed it myself in under ten minutes. They are guileless thieves.
The gasket on my windshield wiper fluid nozzle broke. The motor works fine and my windshield wipers work fine as well, but the connection between the hose and the actual windshield wiper fluid nozzle was busted. They said the part would cost $40 and the entire job to replace it would cost $442 for labor I bought the part online for $9.99 plus tax. I watched a YouTube video and replaced it by myself. Beware of this service center. My vehicle broke down with serious mechanical issue and the AAA initial experience was awesome. Driver of flatbread that towed my car was a gentleman. Nightmare began at Car care Center. Actually initial experience seemed sincere. I live in Ct. and trusted the AAA name. I was wrong and repairs completed on my car at a cost of 4800.00 were horrible and shoddy at best. No need to go into detail, since I’m pursuing the matter legally. My car broke down in front of this AAA so I called for a tow truck to take me to another shop where they don’t over charge me like AAA does but as I’m waiting I asked if he could run a free diagnostic, they said absolutely… mechanic comes out tries to start it says he’ll be right back with his diagnostic tools, does not come back as I’m waiting for him by my car for about 30 minutes I go inside to see what’s up they proceed to hand my keys back and say there nothing he could do or tell me because “there were too many lights ... read more
