I wanted to share a disappointing experience at the AAA office while trying to purchase foreign currency, so others can avoid the same hassle and unnecessary fees. I went in expecting convenience as a AAA member, but the process was poorly explained from the start. Honestly, before this morning I probably would’ve left a 1 star review. My fiancé and I went through Susan to schedule our honeymoon. We had an absolutely horrible time trying to get in contact with her, from emails to phone calls. She claimed to have sent us a reminder email when our payment was due - she hadn’t. We almost had to cancel our honeymoon because we almost missed a payment. She never gave us our info to check into our flight. She caused a lot of unnecessary stress. There were only 2 people working, neither of which acknowledged our presence when when walked in. We waited over 30 minutes while they were supposedly helping other people. After 30 minutes of waiting and ZERO acknowledgement, we left. This was the worst treatment we've ever received from AAA in the over 4 decades we've been members. AAA has really gone downhill to the point its meaningless being a member, especially when this is the treatment you get.
