Very helpful with our international driving permits. Went ahead and renewed our AAA insurance while we were there.
Their phone system is awful. I needed a passport photo but not one of the 5 options. When I got my passport I paid and they told me they only have hard copy photos? What? We lived in a digital age starting about 2 decades ago. Chronically disappointing and btw the app is useless. Whenever I go to log in it needs my membership # etc- I don’t memorize it and why I had the app so I don’t need to carry my card.
Dishonest company. I am no longer a member but I had a hard time cancelling my membership after a terrible experience.
If you're adding anyone, know that you can't remove them no matter what. I'm now divorced. My ex and his kids get to use my account for 4+ more months, and I am financially responsible for any charges they incur, despite the fact that I've already paid AAA for the year. That's concerning after a volatile divorce.
I am so highly upset about what happened to me last night. My car locked on me while driving 60 miles an hour. It came to complete stop and my steering wheel even locked. I was in the middle lane of a busy road. My 4 year old son with autism was with me. I called AAA and told them my situation.
