Arrived at this location just now at 5:10 to get an International Driving Permit. Already had the form completed, photos and everything. The guy who handles it said they need to stop at 5 even though the website says 6. No less than 8 employees but nobody could help me. Been a AAA platinum member for years. Extremely disappointing.
I've heard nothing but good things about this place. Took my vehicle for an inspection. I had an appointment but it took an 1 hour and 30 mins to get it done. Smoke breaks and watching videos on their phones appeared to take precedences over actual work and customer service.
Called about dead battery. Got excellent service jump starting it. Went to AAA to check weak battery next day. Staff was thorough and very friendly, replaced battery promptly, gave us our warranty discount which made new battery very reasonable. Delighted with the wonderful service and a good price. Have used AAA for many years, always been very pleased. Will Nash did a great job helping us. Thanks, Will! My husband and I highly recommend AAA!!
I've been going here for my oil changes for the last two years. They are slower but they give a solid report at the end and they don't try to sell me on things I don't need. The reason I'm leaving this review today is because the service guy I worked with today, Adam Folkes, according to my receipt went above and beyond. Everyone has been nice when I've been there but I was blown away by Adam. I hope someone in management sees this and gives him a raise.
AAA Carolinas is terrible when it comes to programs that they promote. Once you sign up for them, you aren't able to access the benefits. I have been trying for two months to get a balance for my AAA Dollars and I am constantly given the run around when contacting their customer service number. I will be signing up for a different roadside assistance service when my current membership expires. I will also be sure to encourage my friends and family to do the same!
