I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the service I received at AAA Gaithersburg Care in Gaithersburg, MD. I dropped off my car on March 16th, expecting it to be ready by March 18th. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC! THEY CHARGED ME OVER $2000 THAN WHAT THE REPAIRS COST. I was quoted $3096.78 for CV axel, check engine light, valve cover gaskets and one wheel. I went to BRUCE LEE AUTO SERVICES IN ROCKVILLE and paid only $827.27 for the exact same repair AND MORE. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. BRUCE LEE IS SO MUCH BETTER. THEY ARE FAST. THEY ARE REASONABLE. Dropped off my car on Friday due to a flat tire. They said it would be fixed by Saturday and they would call me when it was done. No call, no email, no text. Won't be able to get my car until Monday and I'm going to have to miss work.
Recently, I had my shocks replaced, and Alex served as my main point of contact throughout the process. I greatly appreciate his expertise and the way he took the time to educate me about the repairs performed that day. He provided a visual demonstration of the parts and thoroughly explained how they functioned. Alex was transparent, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns. While I am pleased with his service, there are still a few issues pending, which is why I am giving this review four stars.
