After many years of membership with AAA, I am canceling after our experience both with Roadside Assistance on 7/19/25 and the Fairfax AAA Service Center. After being towed to Fairfax, we were in a bind, stressed and hot from waiting 40+ minutes in the sun along an exit of 495. Nobody was in to fix the car on Saturday and the shop is closed on Sunday (understandable). Absolutely terrible! If you want to be charged thousands just for your car to NOT be fixed but accumulate more issues after bringing it in, definitely bring it to this location. Brought the car in multiple times over the years (only because of the membership, which I now know means nothing to them) for tasks like: -Oil Changes-which takes over a day minimum to complete and you have to call multiple times for any kind of updates. -Battery Change- Car died and was towed there so they did a diagnosis and said we needed a new on... read more
I let AAA tow my car here because it said I would get a discount instead I got the worst service that I have ever had from a car shop. The first conversation they gave me a price and I told them it was too much did they negotiate or try to lower my bill … nope I had to agree to the price or nothing would be done to my car. Then I told them I needed it by Saturday. I had to call every day to get an update and they sounded like my calling was rude. Then they didn’t have it done till after I needed it. Came to shop 715 for state inspection. First one at 730, 820am still no inspection. Have to leave for next appointment. Very disappointed.
