We had our pool built by Premier Pools in Vacaville, CA and they recommended these folks for our pool cover. We spent about $25k on it and it’s had to be repaired 3 times in the year and a half we’ve owned it. Every time it’s repaired we have to argue with the owner about them covering it. Terrible workmanship, wish we had used anybody else.
This company is unprofessional, rude, and does not honor any work they perform. They serviced a cover at my recently purchased house, but the pool cover never worked. When I called them to followup on their work it took multiple attempts to even talk to someone. When I finally reached customer service they said it would take a week and a half for another location to contact me. It's been 2 weeks, no response, nothing. They do not honor their work, are unresponsive, and lack any professionalism. BUYER BEWARE!
We live in Sonoma County. Our pool contractor chose Coverstar/Safety Cover Systems to provide the automatic cover system when our pool was installed approx. 8 mos. ago. Recently, the cover open/close mechanism stopped working. I called Coverstar and, despite the long distance from their location, they sent a tech (Bill) out within a few days to address the problem. Stay away from them or you will regret it later. They made a cover too wide so it had creases that developed leaks. When I made an appointment to have a technician come he did not show up in the pre-agreed four hour time slot. At the end of the day after I waited they called and rescheduled for next day. I was very clear that there was one particular time slot when I could not be there and they agreed. Our pool installer chose the pool cover company, so we had no exposure to them prior to installation. A little over a year after installation, a small tear developed in the cover. Mike and his service team determined the cause of the tear, and stood behind their work and cover warranty 100%. We now have a replacement cover installed and we are super pleased with the warranty communication and experience.
