I worked with two technicians today. Phil diagnosed the problem, and Danny helped tow the vehicle to the auto shop. Not only were both of these guys very kind and enjoyable to chat with, but they each taught me something that I didn’t know about my vehicle. They took the time to explain things showed genuine interest in what they were sharing. I truly appreciate interactions like these, and I hope they are aware of how much joy they’re bringing by simply being themselves.

My son got a flat tire tonight in Orlando, FL on the highway. He called AAA when it was it was still light outside, and was told that he was considered critical/ top priority since he was on the highway, and they would send someone within 10 minutes. He waited and waited but they never showed, so he called back. This person told him there was a 3 hour window for someone to arrive to help him, and the driver they dispatched never answered. I have been with AAA for a few years, and this specific Winter Park office has no customer service standards. They don't answer your questions, when you ask basic questions they say, "I can't answer that" and then they just drop you into the CS phone line. I don't use a specific agent and office to be transferred into a CS phone line with 10–20-minute waits. I only have to deal with Mr. Omelia annually and it is always painful and I just felt like I was bothering him. The past year he was nonresponsive and I called a whole n... read more
