Best place in Chicago to have your transmission worked on! – AA Chicago transmission was recomended to me by a City of Chicago Police Vehicle Mechanic at least 5 years ago. AA Chicago transmission has installed transmissions for two of my vans, a brothers car, and a cousins car. I thought a I had a bad trans in one of my cars, Chicago trans let me know the trans was ok, and I replaced another part by myself that was very inexpensive. dont go – i went to get my trans rebuilt and it broke down the next month took them 5 days to fix it and they are not very truthsworthy

I realize that having to bring your car back into the shop after its been repaired is very frustrating. We always make every effort to get the job done right the first time. But occasionally?whether it's human error or a defective part?we do find ourselves having to reinspect a transmission.In these cases, 3-5 business days is average wait time. Great, Fast customer service and good prices – Saul knew exactly what was wrong with my car and gave me a very good price compared to other shops in the area. My car was ready the next day and have not had any problems since. I recommend everyone who wants a good and affordable job done on their transmissions to visit this location.
Good Shop – Saul took the car for a test drive, did a computer scan and very quickly (and correctly) guessed the problem - my wife's car was stuck in second gear due to a faulty sensor(s). He took care of us immediately and my wife drove her car away in an hour. Avoid Aamco on 2xxx N. Cicero - they did the same tests and after one day incorrectly "diagnosed" an unknown internal problem.
