They were quick to recommend euthanasia without even knowing what was wrong with my cat-and not even bothering to look in her ears during triage on a cat that was stumbling.. Regular vet treated our cat for allergies for years but wasn't much help. Went to this place thinking the worst when our cat was breathing thru his mouth and turned out he didn't have allergies at all, he had asthma. He is like a new cat now. This place saved his life. We now have a new vet.
My experience with this facility isn't good at all. My friends dog was killed by her neighbors larger off leash dog and brought here at 8:30pm a few weeks ago. Minutes later I arrived not knowing what happened and was upset and in shock when the nurse told me the situation. She was very impatient and when I asked for a minute she abruptly said "Do you want to go in or not"? I was in shock, frozen and unprepared for this and thought she didn't need to be so uncaring. I brought my dog here for his end of life care. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Dr. Stanton was caring and compassionate. I will never forget the options she gave us, but in the end, quality of life was a big deciding factor for us. I had a great experience with this emergency vet during a stressful situation with my dog. The staff was friendly, compassionate, and professional from the moment we arrived. They treated my dog with a lot of care and took the time to explain what was going on, what they recommended, and what I should expect. It really helped make a difficult situation a little easier.
