this company is terrible in their ****************. They do not provide updates pertaining to orders the receptionist is incompetent and should not be employed. When asking to speak to the owner she laughs and says she has no owner that she is a human and then hangs up. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Beware using them for anything.

I ordered 3 tarps from A1 Tarps. I received email confirmation with tracking info. After a week I brought up the tracking info to find out that order had been canceled. I called them to find out why and was told that the items were out of stock and that they sent me multiple emails to see if I wanted to wait. I said I received no emails and inquired when items would be in stock. 2-3 weeks was the answer but no offer to reorder via phone conversation. Ordered 3 panels that were listed at 7'x9' which was listed in parenthesis as 6'6" x 8'6". I admit I should have called to confirm what this actually meant, but assumed that the difference was the white strip/grommet section. Received the items and pulled one out. Said 7'x9' package - the only size listed on the package. Measured and was short the 7'x9'. Why on earth the list 2 different sizes is beyond me. We live just a few miles from A1 Tarps so we were able to avoid the shipping cost. On arrival to pick up our order, we were impressed by the courtesy of the warehouse office staff, who greeted us warmly and offered us a beverage while waiting. The 14 mil UV-treated clear poly tarp is exactly what we need to construct a small "greenhouse" structure (using sprinkler pipe as a frame) to protect tropical plants when weather is very hot or very cold. Tarps are shipped in boxes without protection from box-cutters when opening, resulting in several tarp layers being sliced through. Thus far, their customer service couldn't read/understand what happened when stated clearly in emails, then asked for photos that were provide twice. Currently, the posture seems to be not our fault, not our job to protect contents inside a box from box cutters (as ****** & other shippers provide via bubble wrap, layer(s) of cardboard, et al.
