Update: Called out another company for a 2nd opinion. Turns out what Jack had told me (a $800-1600 fix) was taken care of with a slight adjustment of the sensor! I’m not a garage door professional but the difference was alarming. Lesson here: Always get a 2nd opinion. Jack was very professional and knowledgeable. He spent time explaining to me what needed to be done and did not pressure me to upgrade. I appreciated his expertise.
Work was done well and to my approval, my door was very old worn, brought up to new condition and safty standard, I'm looking at 80, the price seemed high, but what don't seem high in this day and age, I'm very happy with the job...👍🤠
