Company stopped servicing the area with no notice after signing people up with warranty. Unethical, unprofessional, poor business practice.
Company decided to cancel servicing my area, after getting me to pay to join the rewards program, and dealing with multiple issues with my garage. Now, my brand new motor is completely dead and I'm told they no longer service my area. This is so unethical, leaving customers high and dry who should have warranty coverage with them. I called this company to make an appt to service my garage door opener mainly b/c with it only being a mile from my house, I thought it might be more quick & convenient for them to make it over here. I was told that they don’t service my zip code, the same zip code their business is in, a town that is listed as part of their service area on their website. The person on the phone couldn’t give me a reason why either & was very quick to hang up after.
Had them install a new garage door opener. A few months later the j bar had a bolt slip out. The top panel of garage door did not fully close now. Called and was informed they don't service my area anymore but have someone near by that may still do warranty work. They sent out an email and forward it to me as well. Never got a reply. Found the bolt and nut that fell but not any lock washer. Installed bolt myself and will have to get another company to look at what caused the top to now not properly seal.
Used this company to install 3 garage doors about a year ago. Installation included a 20 year parts and service warranty. Called today to get a the spring tightened on one of the doors. Was informed that they were no longer providing service to my area and wouldn’t be honoring the warranty. Terrible company that refuses to honor purchasing contract.
