I was trying to see if they would be able to accommadate our situation. They told do me they didn't care what our problem was and hung up on me. Any company that rude should not be in business!!!
If the driver did not run a meter then why pay him? If you are ever in an A1 dependable taxi the meter will be running. Please make sure you get the company name right before you post a review!!! FYI if your ever in a TAXI and that taxi has no meter you are not obligated to pay a fair. A1 dependable taxi is one of the best taxi companies in Lake Charles and one of only two that run a meter!!!
Driver said his credit card device wasn't working after we left hotel. Said he needed cash. Noticed that he didn't activate his cab meter. Got to airport which is a standard drop charge. A charge I pay all the time when using airport. After arrival he added an additional 5 dollars to fare. Plus, he requested a tip! Recommend using another reputable taxi service.
