On the 3rd, a technician cleaned both chimneys, the technician took a long time to figure out how to turn on the fireplace which should have been a red flag, but I was in a forgiving mood. The cleaning was finished, and they left soot all over the living room and vacuumed up the decorative rocks, I asked them to put everything back the way it was after clarifying many times it was put back into a passable (but much worse) state and after 5 minutes they were able to light the pilot. How is it that I leave a request for a gas fireplace cleaning and service that they send out a service person who tells me that gas fireplaces don't need to be cleaned? Make it make sense. He then does nothing, mentions a part that I should replace on my own, and later calls me to ask for $105.55 for coming to my house unprepared and literally doing nothing.
