Trusted them, knew of them growing up, seemed to be good people, they were supposed to rebuild my 350 Transmission in my Square Body Chevy Pick up, the only issue after being rebuilt was pan leaks, But on my 93 3500 4L80 Heavy Duty Transmission, after being "Supposed to be" Rebuilt, from Houston to San Antonio roundtrip once, then sat, then once I pull a broke down pick up about a quarter mile, and all of a sudden, I have no reverse, no 2nd, no 3rd and no 4th, then hard shifting trying to drive home 3 miles, with Transmissio... read more

I called ahead and was told to come in for a transmission diagnostic. When I arrived, I was told to come back another day. After I mentioned that I had already called, they then told me to return later that afternoon instead. The communication was inconsistent and the customer service felt unwelcoming, so I decided to go elsewhere.

I brought a transmission to ken for a bench job. Just a simple 4r100 in a 7.3 diesel truck. I did the install myself . Completely capable Grew up turning wrenches with my dad since 6. Second day I started having problems. Slow shifting and slipping. Brought it to Ken and he fixed the issue in one day. Drive home was good. Two days later its starts not holding gears and slipping in overdrive. Take it back to Ken and he keeps it for 3 days took it apart and went through it. That lasted about a week.
