I hope I can save someone else with my review. The shop quoted a price of $1k labor plus parts to fix my tacoma manual transmission. Once they had it removed, they decided it didn't need any parts and there was a bolt that needed to be tightened and clutch replaced. I got the call and to my surprise the total would be $2,000. I asked for the model number on the clutch and saw it was only $350 with flywheel and throwout bearing. They said there was an additional $400 charge for "fix the problem fee" and clutch would be $600. ... read more
