Highly recommend A Wilder Experience. Great leadership from Rene, well-organized training, and an enjoyable, valuable experience overall. We learned a lot and had a great time doing it.
Rene is a master of survival education, his knowledge and the way he presents and teaches these skills are top notch. 100% recommend taking a course or hiring him as a guide
This September I had the JOY of hiking the LRT guided by Renee. It was amazing! Nature delivered all her beauties, threw in fog and rain and cold just to keep us all on our toes. It was physically and mentally challenging and gave back more than we threw at it. Renee kept things safe and on track but mostly he shared his experience, his great taste in MRE meals (who knew that a 1000 calorie breakfast would actually be necessary!!!), and his expertise. One word - Amazing! Rene took our group of 5 teens and two adults out on the half day tour. We couldn't have asked for a better day! The cliffs, the caves, and the waterfall were magnificent. We saw seals, jelly fish, star fish, sea birds, bald eagles, and to top it off, a whale!!! Rene was great to deal with from day one. Payment and the waiver could be completed online, which was super convenient. Had an amazing time on the water with René exploring the caves in perfect paddle weather. Great time chatting and learned a bunch about the area. Would do again!
