We were looking forward to this place since we've been to Louisiana and enjoyed the food in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Sadly, we didn't enjoy anything about our to-go order. The food wasn't fresh and seemed like they just warmed it up. The hush puppies were extremely dry and stuffed with various items (not described on the menu). Friendly, amazing food, portion size huge. Went for our one year anniversary, they gave us a free dessert.
It was 13 of us and not a single person was satisfied with their meal, food lacked flavor and ingredients, Mac and cheese was undercooked fettuccine, took hours to even get the food. Server was nice and friendly and the drinks were ok.
Disappointed. Been looking for decent brisket and the dried out sauce slathered chunk I received was far from what I was looking for. Collard green were ok (brisket used in them was dry) Mac and cheese was decent.
