You be the judge: Dropped my Yamaha 2.5 outboard off on July 3rd 2020. The motor was running rough and not peeing. They said they needed to replace the carb and said a new carb was close to $225. I found one online for $125. They replaced the carb - three bolts and two rubber hoses and charged me $340 after a cash discount. I think we can all agree that is steep.
