Born in NJ, my life moved to Chicago for 28 years where I met the most honest, reliable and talented mechanic named Gil. I had been on the receiving end of far too many repair shops that have convinced me I needed unnecessary repairs and "scared" me into believing them. When I met Gil and realized he was a truly honest mechanic who is more willing to teach us girls about our cars and how they work, I convinced him to open his own business.
